How do we get started?
The first step is reach out to us via phone or by email where we can set a phone appointment to discuss your project needs, location and date.

Where are you based?
We are based in Tampa, Florida however we travel anywhere in the USA and will travel internationally as well.

What do you offer?
We offer Professional digital photography, video, graphic design and marketing for all types of businesses however we specialize in the Equine Industry. WE LOVE HORSES! Our Graphic Design services includes: Logo design, posters, postcards and stallion cards, brochures, business cards, social media / facebook covers and post ad design, web design, vinyl banners, magazine ad design, magazine layout of entire books and email blast advertising.

What are the prices?
Prices vary per project. See packages above. When you reach out to us we can also discuss your project and quote for what best meets your needs. Shoots with special effects or lighting may require additional fees. We can offer discounts for several horses at one location. For "print" items such as brochures, postcards etc., size and quantities determine pricing. Stunning Steeds requires full payment before services are performed. Checks, cash and all major credit cards are accepted. Unfortunately we do not accept Paypal, Cash Apps or Zelle at this time.

Are there travel fees?
We offer Equine photography to all of the United States and Internationally. We are based in Tampa, FL. Our Equine Photographers do travel to the Ocala area frequently. Travel charges apply to areas outside of Tampa. Clients located more than 200 miles from the Tampa area may be subject to a rental car fee, Hotel, airfare accommodations, (if needed) and will be the clients responsibility. Photographer is willing to stay at guest rooms etc if offered. For out of State Clients, a 3 horse minimum is required. International clients, 5 horse minimum required.

What do sessions include?
Typically conformation, liberty and saddle poses are done however you can discuss in advance to decide what is best for your project. Photo sessions include high resolution files of your favorite images sent via download link. Want more images? No problem! additional images are available for purchase. Barn discounts are offered for multiple horses at same day session. One advantage to using Stunning Steeds is that we do not require any additional fees for copyrights. Our high resolution images from your session include unlimited use copyrights for you, the horses owner.
PRINTS & CANVAS ART IS AVAILABLE
We love nothing more than for our clients to hang their beautiful photos in their homes and stable offices. Photo Prints and canvas art is available for purchase directly from your photo proof gallery, just click on the green button "BUY PHOTO" for print, canvas and merchandise options. The photographer will be notified and will edit your art before going to print. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to call. 

How long does it take to get my photos / video?
We tell clients to allow 2-3 weeks to see photo proofs which is sent via online link however often times proofs can be sent as early as a few days. We ask you to send us your favorite photo selections and those final selections will be retouched. Minor retouching includes fixing closed eyes, lead lines will be removed, handler will be removed, minor distracting items in the background such as telephone poles or power lines etc. will have no charge. Depending on complexity, major fixes such as backgrounds completely changed or fence lines removed may be subject to an additional retouching fee. High resolution files will be sent via download link. Video project times vary on complexity. Videos may take a few days to a few week and are provided via download link. (NOTE For photo package 3 please allow up to 30 days as there are many images to retouch)

Images are for personal printing, professional printing, advertising & marketing and social media use.
Your final image selections include unlimited use copyrights so feel free to use them as much as you like, anywhere you like following these guidelines:
Photographer grants you a worldwide license to use this image for permitted commercial & personal purposes. Defined as: social media, advertising promotion, farm promotion, brochures, website use, prints, posters, flyers, banners, billboards, video, postcards and similar printed materials, magazine advertisements promoting subject photographed.

NOT ALLOWED:
Images by Stunning Steeds are NON TRANSFERABLE. Images are not for resale. Images may not be used for resale for merchandise, shirts, mugs, fine art sales etc without purchase of extended license. However photos may be used for promotional items for the horse/farm advertising. Proof galleries may not be shared publicly.
Please only use final edited selections which are emailed to you and do NOT use screen shots of the unedited watermarked PROOFs in your gallery.
Don’t worry, we are flexible and if you have special requests, simply ask. We are happy to work with you.

IMPORTANT:
We work very hard and we are very proud of the Stunning Steeds brand. Photo signature must be visible on image. If signature is removed or cropped for any reason, please credit with caption: “©Stunning Steeds” or “Stunning Steeds Photo” must appear by each photo when used.
If photo credits are not visible, horse owner may be subject up to to $150.00 charge per violation.

PHOTO USE RIGHTS: The photographer still retains copyright ownership of their work and has simply granted the client a license for personal or commercial use. Photographer has rights to sell license for uses such as commericial use, advertisements, publications, products, stock images and any other media purposes and so on. Exclusive contracts are available and package rates vary.

What if the weather is bad on the day of the session?
We understand that weather conditions can be unpredictable therefore should the day be rainy or not best lighting for a session we can reschedule at no additional charge, only travel fees, if applicable, may apply. If client cancels day of shoot (or horse not prepared, forgetfulness, personal reasons, tardiness etc) session fee is non-refundable. Travel charge may also apply.

What should I Wear for my horse & human portait photo session?
Your portraits are meant to be enjoyed for generations to come. Fad-type clothing should be avoided. Obvious brands, logos, or advertisements, a big no-no. On the session day you may want to avoid prints, stripes, neon colors and too many acessories. Try to also avoid clothing that is very loose. Fitted clothes look much more polished and flattering than loose clothes, which can just make you appear boxy. Too sheer/see through items are never great for a shoot. It’s also wise to bring more than one outfit with you the day of the shoot to give you more options and a back up plan. Ladies, a fresh manicure is best, chipped nails will show up on camera. You may also consider taking off eye glasses as most will give a glare and not show off your eyes. Keep in mind to also tuck in any showing bra straps. Wear sleeves or quarter-sleeves if weather permits. In my experience, the women I photograph are most insecure about the way their arms appear. Covering your arms may take the focus away from them and flatter their shape at the same time. Casual and riding attire is always good with horses yet long skirts, or dresses can be beautiful. There is just something about a long flowy dress that photographs so beautifully, and you will have so much fun wearing one! Wear your hair how you like it, but typically stay away from ponytails. Typically, the looser and more flexible the hairstyle, the better! We hope this helps, feel free to ask us any questions regarding yout attire.

Can I buy stock images, photos for use as fine art, products, merchandise or stock video footage?
Yes! We work with many Equine Magazines, publications, tv shows, artists and various businesses of all types to provide equine stock photography. Please contact us so we can discuss your project needs.

NOTE: All photo shoots include: clients choice of conformation, liberty, under saddle, human & horse portrait (or all).
All wall art, paper prints and additional digitals are purchased separately. Final selected images include minor edits such as any distracting items, leadline and handler may removed if is a simple edit. Black horses coats can be blackened. Complex edits are subject to additional fees: Complete background changes, black/white backgrounds or fences removed may be additional charge. Barn discounts are offered for sessions consisting of multiple horses on the same shoot date/ same location-call for quote. Travel charges apply for clients located outside of Tampa, FL. Specialty props, smoke machines, special lighting etc. may be an additional fee. *Unlimited use copyright is defined below in FAQs - what you can and cannot do with images.

HORSE SHOWS and EVENTS

Providing a distinctive and tailored experience exclusively for competitive equestrians. Our services encompass photography and videography options tailored specifically for horse shows and events, available on a bespoke basis to suit individual requirements. Please note that prior permission from event organizers is required for each occasion before the show dates. In addition, we collaborate with carefully chosen events to offer comprehensive media coverage.

NOTE: All private video shoots include: clients choice of conformation, liberty, under saddle, human & horse session (or all). Barn discounts are offered for sessions consisting of multiple horses on the same shoot date/ same location. Sorry, copyrighted music may NOT be used unless proof of rights are purchased and file provided from client. Travel charges apply for clients located outside of Tampa or Ocala, FL. For horse shows and events any photography or video recording MUST BE authorized by show committee before day of event.
